Terrarium meets Aquarium: The Exo Terra Paludarium is a semi-aquatic terrarium habitat that replicates a rainforest, swamp or stream and can harbour aquatic as well as terrestrial animal and plant species. A paludarium combines the best of two worlds: the bottom part has an extra high front bottom glass, providing a higher water level and an increased water volume compared to common terrariums.
The unique root background provides extra climbing opportunities and simulates a natural banyan tree-root environment. The increased 3-D dwelling space makes it a great habitat for a number of tree dwelling species like tree boas & pythons, day geckos, leaf-tailed geckos, tokay geckos, tree frogs, etc.
The extra high front bottom glass of the Exo Terra Paludarium enables you to incorporate a substantial water part or aquarium section, which allows you to keep aquatic animals and plants adjacent to the land or terrarium section. A part of the aquatic section can consist of a false bottom to support the land section, accommodate and hide the aquatic appliances like filters, pumps and water heaters and can double as a biological filtration media.

Exo Terra Forest Moss is real compressed moss grown in tropical Asia. This ecological substrate is ideal for increasing humidity in the terrarium and is totally safe for frogs, salamanders and burrowing or digging animals. The Exo Terra Forest Moss is extremely absorbent and is recommended in humidifying shelters such as the Exo Terra Snake Cave or Reptile Cave. It is also an ideal egg-laying or incubation medium.

Exo Terra Plantation Soil – 3-pack
Exo Terra Plantation Soil is made from compressed coconut husk fibre from the plantations of tropical Asia. This ecological substrate is ideal for increasing humidity in the terrarium and is totally safe for frogs, salamanders and burrowing or digging animals. The substrate can also be used as an incubation medium because of its hygroscopic properties. Hobby Terrano Red Bark 4 L
A particularly absorbent substrate made of Douglas fir bark. For semi-damp and in particular for damp terraria. Moisture storage capacity controls the humidity in the terrarium as needed. Hobby Spaghnum Moss 100g
Sphagnum-Moss is 100 % natural moss for the terrarium in the form of a compact tile.
The Sphagnum-Moss tile swells up by adding ca. 1.5 liters of tepid water which actually produces ca. 4.5 liters of ready to use moss from such a small size.
It is ideally suitable for raising the humidity in the terrarium and keeping it stable over a longer period.
Especially those terrarium inhabitants with high humidity requirements appreciate its qualities.
Sphagnum-Moss has enormously versatile uses whether required to facilitate moulting for snakes and lizards, as padding in the so-called wet box or as a substrate for the deposit of eggs as well as for decoration.
