Pogostemon Helferi

Pogostemon Helferi common name Downoi from the family Lamiaceae originates from Thailand and can grow to a height of 2 cm – 10 cm. P. helferi is considered one of the most unique and beautiful foreground plants available. Its curly leaves which are an exquisite green colour that reach a length of about 2.5 cm and its condensed habitat make this beautiful and unique plant so unforgettable. P. helferi will form a picturesque foreground carpet once light conditions are beneficial and the substrate is rich in nutrients. It important to note, however, that herbivorous fish appreciate this plant as much as aquarists do.
